Folk cultural activities will be held on Anren Market Day during Spring Equinox period, on which people used to hold folk sacrificial activities to commemorate Shen Nong. The festival will last for three days.

On that day, people will make friends, gather for meals, and have blind dates after praying for grain harvest at the Shen Nong Temple, as well as trade in daily necessities such as herbs, agricultural tools, and seedlings. They can enjoy such performances as folk operas, and dragon and lion dances, and float lanterns on the Yongle River in the evening.
